Common Admission Test CAT was been conducted by the Indian Institute of Management for the students who are willing to do their higher studies in the Management line. This score will be taken into account for all the reputed institutions of India to do their Management course.
Eligibility Criteria for candidate appearing in Common Admission Test:
A bachelor’s degree, with 50% marks or Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) from any University or from any deemed University under section 3 of University Grands Commision (UGC) act, 1956 or a certificate from any recognized institution by Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Government of India.
If the candidate has obtained percentage of marks, it will be calculated based on university/ institution where they have obtained their degree.
If the candidate has obtained Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) instead of marks, it will be converted to percentage based on procedure followed in the university/ institution where they have obtained their degree.
If there is no scheme for converting Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) to percentage, the marks will be dividing by maximum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) and multiplied by 100.
Candidates appearing qualifying examination can also appear for the examination.
No age limit for appearing in Common Admission Test (CAT).
